Assistant Professor in Department of Geography and Geology responsible for teaching and research in the areas of GIS, criminal justice applications of GIS and water resources. for development of a GIS-based spatial decision support system for management of subsurface
contamination for U.S. Air Force bases and for Superfund sites. Manager of an advanced GIS
system using MGE, three dimensional volume models, groundwater flow and contaminant
transport models and a relational database (ORACLE). Program coordinator for assessment and
remediation of seven contamination sites on USBR lands. Team leader of an interdisciplinary
team of geologists, biologists, archaeologists, and realty specialists performing environmental
assessment and NEPA and cultural resources compliance efforts.
CITY OF BOULDER CITY, NEVADA, Public Works Department. GIS Consultant. April
1995- May 1996. Responsible for development of municipal Arc/Info based GIS covering
120,000 acres within City limits. Responsible for GIS design including functional requirement
study and preparation of development plans, implementation strategy and system and peripheral
configuration. Oversaw the development of geodetic control and coordinates system
transformation by laying out a two centimeter accuracy GPS based surveying effort.

November 1991-September 1992. Lead research effort for prototype GIS to assess contamination
sites on Vandenberg AFB. . Graduate Researcher, June 1988-January 1991. Conducted research
