About Me

I am an Assistant Professor at Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Sam Houston State University (SHSU). I completed my PhD in Mathematics at Texas A&M university under the supervision of Prof. Rostislav Grogirchuk, and was a Haglar Institute for Advanced Study (HIAS) student fellow to Prof. Misha Lyubich. I was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Stony Brook University before arriving to SHSU. Click here to see more about me.

My research interests are in Geometric Group Theory (Groups acting on Trees, Groups of Intermediate Growth), Group Dynamics and their applications in Holomorphic Dynamics. Click here for more on reseach. I am teaching Calculus II (MATH 1430) and Algebraic Structures (MATH 4377) this semester, and my past classes can be found here.
